I offer manual therapy and therapeutic exercise sessions for individuals of all ages with orthopedic and neurological conditions, including:
- low back and neck pain
- pre- and post- operative orthopedic surgical rehabilitation
- joint and soft tissue conditions, including arthritis, tendinitis, muscle strains, ligament sprains and bursitis
- headaches and TMJ
- chronic conditions such as ankylosing spondylitis, spinal stenosis
- multiple sclerosis, post- CVA and peripheral nerve injuries
- cerebral palsy
I graduated from the University of Connecticut and became a licensed physical therapist in 1986. In 2000, I received my Master’s Degree in Anthropology from The State University of New York where my studies focused on evolutionary anatomy. I am a recent graduate of The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School & Clinic in Austin TX.
My practice is informed also by my training in ballet and modern dance, competitive swimming, springboard diving and martial arts (karate and tai chi).
